Seasonal Nourishment Circle
A 90-minute gathering of gentle movement, like-hearted community, and joyous CRAFTS!
✨
Sunday, February 1st • 2pm-3:30pm
Nest Yoga 3976 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA
No experience necessary, all levels welcome
In the Celtic tradition, February 1st marks the seasonal festival Imbolc (a word that means “in the belly”).
It is a chance to celebrate that while our bodies are still nested in the dark cocoon of winter, it is becoming brighter around us every day, and new beginnings are starting to stir.
At this gathering, we’ll honor the poetry of the seasons through gentle movement, journaling, and weave our prayers into a simple, seasonal craft.
It’s going to be more fun than a basket of snow drops, let me tell you! 😉

There is street parking on Piedmont Ave., as well as on the side streets nearby. There is also a CVS parking lot about a block away. Parking is free on Sundays, but Piedmont Ave can be busy, so be sure to arrive early to settle in with ease.
You’ll see a sign for Nest Yoga. Open that door and walk down the short alley, and you’ll find the studio.
-
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, and a journal and a pen. Wear something comfortable to move in.
-
Nope, all levels of experience are welcome.
-
Not really. It is based on themes of seasonal living which can be spiritual for some. We will talk about different nature-based traditions, but the event is not tied to any specific belief system.
-
No problem. The craft is simple enough for anyone to enjoy, and there is no way to do it wrong!
-
We ask that you reserve the full time for the circle so that everyone can settle into the shared experience together.
-
This is a one-time event and spots are limited, so we do not offer refunds.
