Mary Lofgren, writer, artist, embodiment coach and host of Come to Your Senses

I’m Mary Lofgren.

I’m a somatic educator, learning and development leader, and award-winning coach.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of learning, leadership, and embodiment.

I’ve led teams of educators, developed trainers and facilitators, designed certification programs, and coached individuals through meaningful personal and professional change.

My work helps people access the intelligence of the body, release the patterns that limit them, and develop the self-trust to act on what they know.

But this work is personal, too.

For much of my life, I felt held back by insecurity and self-doubt, rooted in a disenfranchised relationship with my own body.

I knew how to perform, please, and do what was asked of me with 110% effort.

I could analyze a decision from every angle and still feel paralyzed.

My transformation began when I discovered movement, expression, and embodied practice as a way to know my authentic self, without having to “figure” anything out.

This helped me break free from self-doubt and reconnect with the desires, instincts, and passions I had learned to override.

When I learned to stop fighting my body, everything changed. I began to discover a wisdom and power that years of planning, therapy, and analyzing myself couldn’t come close to.

Through embodiment, I discovered a kind of power that went far beyond control: the power of self-trust, of knowing my own mind and acting from instinct, rather than overthinking.

This experience continues to shape how I live lead, teach, coach, and create.

I’m honored to be a companion, leader, and guide on your journey.
