The Temple of Tea
5-MINUTE RITUAL
Pour yourself a warm cup of comfort, and slip into exquisite presence
Grounding your nervous system into presence has a Midas-touch effect on every area of your life.
When you’re present, you make clearer decisions, show up more fully in relationships, and see your life less as a list of demands, and more as a feast of beauty and abundance.
But sometimes, presence practice just seems like it takes…too much.
Too much effort, too much time, too much discipline.
When everything feels like work, including your practice of peace, it makes sense that you might distract, resist, or make literally anything else a priority.
Hmmm…I planned to meditate , but isn’t it more urgent to hand-vac the crumbs out of my cutlery drawer? Why yes, I believe it is.
But allure is another thing entirely.
When slowing down becomes as alluring as a fragrant cup of tea, presence becomes something you can fall into the arms of.
Today, we’ll set a place for presence through the ancient allure of a cup of tea.
Pour the warm beverage of your choice, and fix it as you like. (It should be warm, but cool enough to take a long, full sip.)
Hit play on the audio and be guided into a 5-minute spa of exquisite presence through the temple of tea.
CHARM 01
Post-Ritual Journaling Gem
What is life longing to place in my hands, that I can only receive if I slow down to relax my grip?
“Before there were temples, there was tea.”
